Metalbestos gives you the safe, efficient, and cost-effective venting system that's engineered precisely for pellet and corn burning stoves. Model VP Pellet Pipe has been tested and listed by Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc., in accordance with UL641 Standard for Low Temperature Venting Systems, as well as the applicable requirements from UL103 Standard for Residential Type and Building Heating Appliance Chimneys. Model VP Pellet Pipe, when installed according to Metalbestos installation instructions, complies with National Safety Standards, such as NFPA -211. The system is rated for flue temperatures up to 570F.

It all started in 1973, Bob Cohen started a woodstove distribution company in his family garage. He called it BAC Sales after his wife, Barbara Ann Cohen. The first stove brand they sold was Better n Bens' made in Unionville CT. After years of calling on woodstove shops and working long hours Bob and Barbara grew BAC Sales to employ 55 people and 60,000 ft2 of warehouse space. From 1992 to 2003 their son, Jack Cohen sold more than 2700 pellet and wood stoves. He had always wanted to make a better stove and over the years he had always helped his manufacturers to improve their products with real world R&D. Jack’s belief is that real world testing is the best way to improve a product.

The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.

I have owned this units for a couple of months. From the beginning I had nothing but constant problems. It does not work with a thermostat as stated. It shuts down continually with no explanation. It takes 3-4 times to restart. Last straw: again, the pellets do not feed and the unit shuts down, the auger no longer turns. Parts are coming this week, but if the problem is not fixed, it is going back.

OWNED STOVE OVER A MONTH NOW,AND IT DOES A GREAT JOB FOR THROWING OUT HEAT. I START AT MODE-3 TO GET HEAT IN THE AREA QUICKLY, THEN AFTER AN HOUR WILL LOWER TO MODE 2 TO MAINTAIN TEMPERATURE AND CONSERVE ON PELLETS. WOULD BE HAPPY TO TALK TO ANY FUTURE BUYER WITH MORE DETAIL.......
