high quality, not well executed this piece is definitely well made (the burners are solid stainless steel made in solingen germany). beautiful when lighted. my only concern is that it's a bit of a hassle to refill - the burner and the base are screwed together so every time it needs fuel the burners must be removed from the base, unscrewed, filled, put together... etc. the wick that came with the item is a cheap cotton wick (not fiberglass) so it burns rather quickly and need replacement after a month or two. Bottom line- I wish the refueling was easier and for the price it should ship with a decent wick. The beauty of this piece (when lighted) - somewhat makes up for the shortfalls. |
